As an addition to our team in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for a motivated individual to join us as soon as possible as a
Tax Assistant (m/f/d) on a full- or part-time basis.
Your key responsibilities:
- You will assist our domestic and international clients with tax matters related to international tax law, structuring, foreign tax law, and double taxation agreements (DTAs).
- You will manage cross-border investment structures with a focus on preparing tax balance sheets and tax returns, such as corporate income tax returns as well as separate and unified assessment returns for domestic and foreign funds and real estate companies.
- You will assist us in representing our clients before the tax authorities, particularly during ongoing tax field audits and appeal proceedings.
What we expect from you:
- Motivation to familiarize yourself with new topics and continuously expand your skills
- A completed university degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) with a focus on taxation or a comparable field of study
- First professional experience in the tax field is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Analytical thinking and a precise, structured approach to work
- Good English skills
- A strong understanding of economic dynamics, analytical strength, and strong teamwork skills

Tax Assistant (m/f/d) on a full- or part-time basis.
Here are the tasks you can expect:
- Preparing VAT returns and tax returns for domestic and international companies
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax balance sheets
- Serving as the direct point of contact for our clients regarding both ongoing and case-specific tax matters
- Assisting with the review of tax assessments and tax field audits
- Participation in special tax projects
What we expect from you:
- Completed vocational training in a commercial discipline or a degree in finance, taxation, accounting, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in the tax field is a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
- Analytical thinking and a precise, structured approach to work
- English language skills are a plus
- Strong understanding of tax and accounting processes, affinity for numbers, and enjoyment of teamwork.

Founded as a tax consulting firm, we expanded our range of services in mid-2025 to include legal advice in the areas of corporate and tax law. cctax & legal GmbH is a newly founded firm—with a focus on tax law and M&A. Through an asset deal, it has acquired the tax consulting business of the former Clifford Chance Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH. The majority of our staff have thus gained their experience within the environment of an international law firm. Our connection to our lawyers, with whom our tax advisors have successfully collaborated in the past, also dates back to this time.
